Noëlle Jenkins grew up in the orange groves of Arizona. She is a third generation Arizona State University student pursing a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fibers expecting to graduate in 2015. The reinterpretation of traditional craft techniques drew Jenkins to fibers. She began to use fiber art as a means to express her personal history through a medium that holds an intrinsic sense of familiarity. She collects stories from books, conversations, and audio recordings and combines them with her own stories and interpretations. Her work centers on the translation of oral and textual stories into visual representations.
